Vernix PU Aqua

Colourless water-borne polyurethane varnish with a matt aspect and with a faint odour while applying and drying. Its flexible film provides excellent durability on softwood that have a tendency of moving over time. Slightly dyed, the result is a nice limewashed effect. The PU+ Technology gives it optimal resistance to wear and tear, dirt and skin sebum.

Ideal for all types of woodwork and floors, made of resinous wood, softwood or reconstituted wood, subject to intense luminosity and intensive use.

Indoor bare woodwork and wooden floors, or previously varnished/painted such as window frames, doors, panelling, furniture, parquet, skirting boards, stairs… made of resinous wood, softwood, reconstituted wood or hardwood.

Our VERNIX PU AQUA can be applied in areas where food products are used, processed, and handled, in accordance with the Corrigendum to Council Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the hygiene of foodstuffs.
  • Can be slightly dyed for a wood stain effect.
  • Easy application.
  • Faint odour.

  • Optimal resistance to wear and tear, dirt and skin sebum.
  • Easy upkeep: washable.
Colourless, but adding dyes is possible:
  • 1 to 2 ml of SF.BH per litre of varnish to stabilise the initial shade of the wood.
  • Between 5 and 30 ml of SF.BH per litre of varnish for a white cerused effect.
  • Between 2 and 30 ml of SF.NH per litre of varnish for a dark cerused effect.
Ready-to-use.

On slightly absorbent substrates, dilute the first coat with 5 to 10% water.
