The sun is slowly coming out again – the outdoor painting season is on the horizon.
Don't want to miss out on the opportunity this year? We’re sharing some tips for optimal work.
Steps to follow:
- Clean your facade if it needs it.
- Apply our Fixator Exterior to your entire facade if it is new or only to places where the brick is exposed if it has already been painted.
- If you have applied the Fixator Exterior: wait at least 24 hours for the solvents to evaporate.
- Switch to applying a first finishing coat with our Facade Finish or Villa Perfect.
- Wait at least 5 hours before applying the second finishing coat.
Useful information:
- Take action only when the outside temperature exceeds 10°C day and night.
- Do not paint on a rainy day.
- Start your work preferably in the morning to avoid the hot afternoon weather.
- Remember to tint your product because the white of the untinted product tends to be dazzling.
